Unity Through Salsa - Building Community and Inspiring Social Change

At Unity Salsa, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting Latin rhythm and dance, with an emphasis on Salsa. We hold community dance events to bring the greater Phoenix dance community together. We aim to create positive + inclusive family-friendly dance experiences at all our events.

We invite you to support our quarterly Unity Through Salsa community events at NRG Ballroom in Tempe, Arizona. Our events offer: 

• A fundamental rhythm class- the launchpad of our Salsa Music & Dance programs 
• Music and dance performances by local artists 
• Music-making and exploring Latin musical instruments 
• Social dancing and community-building 
• Free childcare for our family-friendly atmosphere 

Our hands-on approach encourages every walk of life to explore the world of Latin Rhythms. We provide and demonstrate with real “skin-on-wood” traditional instruments such as Congas, Claves, Guiros, Bongos, Cowbells, and more! We also use the modern music & dance production tools like Digital Audio Workspaces, Looping tools, and MIDI instruments for inspiring and nurturing talents from hobbyists all the way to the professional level artist, as passions ignite!
