Unity Salsa’s Mission is to celebrate music+dance AND to offer help+hope to those in need. 

Unity Salsa’s Human Services Department offers help to at-risk individuals by providing basic needs services and case-management.  We aim to end cycles of homelessness, mental health issues, and addiction.

Unity Salsa's Music & Dance Department promotes the use of rhythm in various forms for health and happiness.  We use Salsa and other genres of dance music for participants' engagement in meaningful activities that cultivate joy and fulfillment.

Our vision is a future where music and dance thrive and serve as catalysts for personal and collective change.  We envision communities of all scopes where music and dance are routinely available, and also utilized, for helping those in need.

We can imagine a society where individuals can find the strength, support, and purpose they seek through communities bolstered by caring for one another.  We see a future enriched by the sense of Fulfillment from being a positive part of something greater than ourselves.

Unity Salsa was established as a department within an existing non-profit organization in August 2023. In January 2024, Unity Salsa received 501(c)(3) status as a Public Charity. Unity Salsa's EIN number is 99-0895179.
