Unity Salsa

Join our new Fundamentals of Salsa class designed to build all the essential foundations, immersing yourself in the world of Latin music and dance.  

Designed for beginners—no experience needed! All of the elements to bring you from beginning through advanced dancing will be delivered in bite-sized pieces, in a method appropriate for brand-new dancers and music-makers. This class will cover the comprehensive Unity Salsa Music + Dance Program Syllabus, which includes some music instruction, and a path for those wishing to play more music than dance. Members will also have access to our new online video catalog, starting with syllabus videos.

• First 30 min: Breakdown - The session’s featured Rhythm with hands-on musical instruments
• Next 30 min: Dance Drills - Exercises & Technique during live music ‘jamming’ practice
• Next 30 min: Shines - Dancing individually in syncopation with Latin rhythmic patterns
• Final 30 min: Partnerwork - Learning to connect in beautifully new ways
